About The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial leader to join us as the VP of Community. You will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy to drive our online memberships, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships and will ultimately be guiding how a generation of people-first executives, innovative WorkTech CEOs and forward-thinking investors come together to shape the future of work, globally. Reporting into the CMO, this role will provide leadership for the organization’s membership and engagement program, developing and managing the strategy and tactical initiatives to drive incremental member and community engagement. You will partner closely with multiple stakeholders to develop and execute new initiatives that further enhance our online community and membership value.

- Develop strategic business plan and operating model to support aggressive online community growth
- Unlock network effect in our ecosystem that extends and attracts a global audience to Transform’s brand.
- Grow and direct our early-stage online community and membership strategy
- Help to hire a team of passionate and potent team members aligned to our mission
- Create and execute plans to drive the support of our online digital community via strong community interactions, unique and creative content, and engaging experiences for our members
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing/hiring a high-performing team, and implementing innovative changes that lead to digital expansion.
- Develop on-boarding process and engagement plan
- Produce collateral materials including Membership Packet
- Manage the organization’s annual membership renewal process
- Develop and maintain regular communication with all members and prospects (newsletters, emails, mailings, phone calls, in-person meetings)
- Initiate and develop regional events to engage donors in their home cities
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute growth and communication strategies
Qualifications:
- Proven success in an Executive leadership role
- Experience and success in scaling a high-growth online community and membership model
- Strong decision-making ability
- Data driven leadership
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Proven ability to develop and scale online/membership communities
- Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
- Bachelor’s degree
